- How can I become a member?
It is very easy. Create a new account,
login in with your e-mail and password,
go to Subscription page, select the membership level and
type of payment.
- What payment do you accept?
At this moment we accept payment made with credit card via PayPal
payment system.
- Is paying online safe?
Yes, it is safe. PayPal is one one of the leading payment systems
well-known worldwide and your financial security is their (and ours) highest priority.
- Do you renew subscription automatically?
Yes, if you paid for monthly subscription it will be renewed automatically each month.
No, if you paid for limited period. In this case your subscription will be canceled after
expiration of that period. But don't worry, we will send email with notification before experation date.
- I want to cancel my subscription. Can I get unused money back?
Sorry, no. If you purchased Silver or
Gold limited or monthly subscription and then decide to cancel,
we do not return unused part of paid money.
- What happens if I stop my subscription?
If you end your subscription you will no longer be able to play
any of channels from pre-set or your own playlists. Only free radios will be available
for playing on your phone.
However, your account information will be kept in our system for 1 more months in case
if you decide to activate your account again and only after that period it will be fully deleted.
- Can I access my account directly from mobile?
Easy, just use your phone's browser to access this site.
It was especially designed to keep it as simple as possible.
- I have forgotten my password or username. How can I get them?
If you use our Java-mobile application m3gPlayer,
you can select Account menu command and find your login information there.
Or you can request your login data as long as you remember
the e-mail address you have supplied.
- How can I activate my account?
After registration your account you have to receive a confirmation e-mail with your login data
and activation link. Click on that link to activate the account.
Also you can ask for your activation link as long as you remember
the email address you have supplied.
- Can I change my login ID?
Unfortunately not. You have to create a new account.
- What connection do I need to stream music on the mobile?
You need a 3G or WiFi connection to get access to Internet and listen to stream music.
- How can I check if my phone can play your media streams?
The easiest way to do that with no installation is simply to follow the next steps:
- Open Free Radios page with phone's browser.
- Select one of available free Internet radio links.
- Wait a little until it starts playing (great, you might be our client
and we are looking forward for you)
or shows an error message (well, change your phone and welcome back).
If your phone supports Java-mobile, you can install our application m3gPlayer
using instructions from Why Us? page. Start the application and try to play any
channel from free radio list.
- m3gPlayer does not play on my phone. Can you help me?
Our application works only on Java-enabled 3G phones with RTSP support.
Also AAC LATM audio codec must be implemented on your phone.
If you phone supports RTSP usually you can try to use our service without m3gPlayer (see below).
- Will m3gPlayer works on iPhone?
Not sure. iPhone does not natively support Java-mobile. But as far we know Sun Microsystems
announced that they are developing a Java Virtual Machine (JVM) for Appleās iPhone
enabling Java applications to run on the popular mobile device.
- How do I get the version of
m3gPlayer for Android/iPhone/Windows Mobile?
Unfortunately there is no version of our application for Android, iPhone or Windows Mobile yet.
But you still can use our ABOD music service.

- Can I use ABOD service without
m3gPlayer ?
Yes, you can. At first you need to register a new account.
and sign up for Silver or
Gold subscription.
After that go to My Account page to login and
select available radio stations for playing.
- Will it cost me additional money to listen to stream music?
Besides subscription fee for our service you will be charged by your mobile provider.
We recommend to have unlimited Internet data plan. Please contact your provider for plan details.
- I am going abroad. Can I still use your service outside my country?
It depends on your mobile provider. Our service is available worldwide but many providers restrict using of
Internet data plan outside your country or apply extra charges.

- Which phone OS can use with your m3gPlayer application?
Our application works on any 3G Java-enabled phone.
- Why do I need 3G connection to use your service?
It is just matter of speed. Stream music with average or high bitrate
demands high speed Internet connection.
- Why do I need RTSP/RTP support to use your service?
Unlike HTTP protocol RTSP/RTP provides real-timing while broadcasting media.
RTSP is used to establish and control media sessions between end points. And RTP is transport
protocol for media stream delivery.
- Why do I need AAC/LATM codec to use with your service?
Advanced Audio Coding (AAC) is a standardized, lossy compression and encoding scheme for digital audio.
It was chosen as an output format for ABOD music service because it
provides the best possible sound quality for low and average bitrates.
Low-overhead MPEG-4 Audio Transport Multiplex (LATM) is a method for packaging/encapsulating
elementary AAC stream data from transport.
- I want to add my favorite on-line radio to playlist. Can I do that?
You can create your own playlist if you buy Silver or
Gold subscription.
Login to your Account, go to Playlist page and
add any Internet radio with supported transport protocol and audio format
to your playlist. Then execute our special script to check computability
original media stream with our system.
If everything is OK you can access and play your radios on Overview page or
from m3gPlayer application.
- Do you restrict number of radios in my playlist?
As Silver member you can add only one radio to your playlist.
Gold member can add any entries into own playlist.

- It takes long time to start playing. Why?
Starting a new channel on your phone includes several steps:
- Communication with our hosting server and database.
- Connection to original HTTP media stream.
- Loading some portion of media data from the stream to our system.
- Decoding media from original audio format to AAC
- Translating the media to RTSP payloads.
- Loading media data to phone's player
Steps 1-5 usually take about 3-4 seconds to complete. If a channel is already
on air steps 2-5 will be skipped.
Step 6 is out of our control and fully depends on implementation of RTSP player on your phone
and very sensitive to quality of 3G network in your area.

It is very easy. Create a new partner account,
login to Partners area, go to Setup
page to get your affiliated URL. Put the link on your web site with some description
of our service and that is it.
- What is my commission?
At this moment it is 33%.
Each time when your affiliated user will buy any subscription your part of payment will
be accumulated on your partner account.
- How can I get my payment?
You can request your payment after your available amount becomes equal $10.
We use PayPal payment system to send money to you. You must provide us
your PayPal account to get your payment.
- How can I check my balance?
Login to Partners area and you can find your available
and paid balances, verify payment history log, see list of users connected to your partner account,
check your share of their payments.
